Strategic Planning Open Forums

The university community and its constituents will be meeting over the next couple of months to outline the university's strategic plan moving into the future.  The Strategic Plan Development Group (SPDG) will host a number of open forums at which students, faculty, and staff can share their views on overarching strategies and goals they see as central to the university's mission.  On June 30, 2016 the SPDG will submit a strategic plan that reflects these strategies and goals to Provost Butler and Vice President Rocklin.  In the 2016-17 academic year Provost Butler will convene work groups to begin strategy implementation. Work groups will include faculty, staff and students with expertise in the particular strategy area.

We will hold two forums each for faculty, staff, and students, along with an all campus forum.  Although we specify target audiences for each forum (faculty, staff, students), you may attend any forum that works with your schedule. The times, dates, and locations are:

Staff Forums:
Monday, April 25, 2:00-3:30 pm, Iowa Theatre (166 IMU)
Monday, May 2, 9:00-10:30 am, Medical Alumni Room, E331 General Hospital (Elevator BW to 3rd Floor)

Faculty Forums:
Wednesday, April 27, 1:30-3:00 pm, Illinois Room (348 IMU)
Thursday, April 28, 3:30-5:00 pm, Medical Alumni Room, E331 General Hospital (Elevator BW to 3rd Floor)

Student Forums:
Monday, April 25, 5:00-6:30 pm, 2520D UCC
Thursday, May 5, 5:00-6:30 pm, Multipurpose Room, Petersen Residence Hall (main level, just past info desk)

All Campus Forum:
Wednesday, May 4, 2:30-4:00 pm, 2nd Floor Ballroom, IMU
